Kyle Fire Department/ESD 5 recently purchased a new fire engine. As part of its 2016 budget, the City of Kyle allocated $75,000 to KFD. Chief Kyle Taylor said Engine 22 will primarily serve neighborhoods in east Kyle. A current engine will be retired and used as a reserve vehicle.
