SamanthaDeanThe Kyle Police Department is mourning the loss of one of their own as Victim Services Coordinator Samantha Dean passed away earlier this week. Samantha was a dedicated employee whose job was to assist victims of crime as they worked their way through the justice system and their healing process.

Samantha had only been with the department for two years, but had a huge impact and positive influence on the entire department and City staff. By far the biggest loss will be to those she worked with on a daily basis as she was passionate about helping crime victims through some of the most difficult times anyone could imagine.

From KPD: “Although we are fortunate that partner agencies like the San Marcos Police Department, Hays County Sheriffs Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, and others, have offered their very capable and valuable assistance in helping our crime victims, we will be hard pressed to replace the very personal, compassionate and caring touch that Samantha provided to the citizens of Kyle.”
Please join us we pray for Samantha’s family and friends.
