Beginning the week before Christmas and going through the last Friday of January, the City of Kyle Parks & Recreation Department has set up “drop-off” areas at the Cities Parks to drop off your natural Christmas Trees, dead trees, shrubs and bushes.
Please note:
Dumping of anything in city parks without expressed written permission is a crime.
Natural Christmas Trees:
All decorations and lights, including tinsel, must be removed. No artificial trees. No nails or screws. No tree bases. The trees will be chipped and used in parks.
The drop-off points are:
GREGG-CLARKE PARK – (location set up near tennis court)
STEEPLECHASE PARK – (location set up near football/soccer field)
WATERLEAF PARK – (location set up near parking lot)
