Your Kyle Parks and Recreation Department has received many requests for night fishings, so we are excited to provide this activity while surrounding it with other opportunities to be active, get outside, spend time with your family, and promote community togetherness.

Sunset Family Trail Run:
As the festivities get started we will host a trail run for all ages. The trail is two miles long and wraps around Lake Kyle. We encourage families to get out, be active and enjoy this time together. Jogging strollers are welcome.  Please be aware that terrain is rough.  Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m.. Run will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Live Music:
The Amphitheater at Lake Kyle Park will host four separate acoustic shows during the Full Moon Jubilee.

Night Fishing:
The much anticipated night fishing is here! Bring your fishing poles and see what you can catch! Fishing license required over the age of 17.

Horseshoes & Washers Tournament:
Hosted by Texas State’s Association of Recreational Enthusiasts, a horseshoe and washers tournament will be held throughout the evening. Come out and show us your skills! $3 per two-person team, cash prize.

Other Activities:

The evening will also include food vendors and other family-friendly activities such as s’mores and a bonfire! We will also have fun activities and games for the kids.  We look forward to seeing you out at Lake Kyle Park!
