There aren’t a ton of options in Kyle, TX for going out and having a drink. Casa Garcia’s is one of the few establishments in town with a full bar and a decent beer list. Normally I expect the Mexican imports and the standard domestic beersĀ at a Mexican food restaurant, so I was pleasantly surprised to see Casa Garcia’s had a wheat beer! There are only a few things better than a wheat beer on a hot summer night. I can’t vouch for the margarita’s because I’m not a huge fan. If anyone has experience with specialty drinks from Casa Garcia’s, please tell us your thoughts in the Kyle Life Forums.
The doors stay open until 11:00p on Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 all other nights. Those are great weekend bar hours for me- go out for a few drinks, be home and in bed by midnight. As far as price goes, it’s what you’d expect from a restaurant bar; ~$4 for a beer, ~$7 for a specialty drink. A shot of well tequila was $4.75 which is about right.
